At the heart of Portmanteau LDN is the belief that publishing and arts industries should be a place of equal opportunity.
With this in mind, we promise that we give every piece of work submitted to us careful consideration, and we commission writing purely based on the quality of the submission, regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, and class identity.
We aim to bring the very best perspectives to our readers, while encouraging creativity in every economic group. This can only be achieved with the consideration of many different and diverse perspectives.
Short stories & mid-length fiction

Accepted contributions are paid for (15.00 GBP as of 02/2021) on the date of publication
Each accepted contributor will receive a complimentary copy of the magazine
After signing your contract, it is up to you how involved you are with us. You'll receive a ‘Marketing and Publicity’ communication soon after acceptance; like most magazines, we encourage our contributors to be as engaged as possible with the publication process. We love to hear from you and you'll find plenty of contributor interviews on our blog, Word Potion.
